Roses are red
Violets are blue
You want your brand to be loved
Focus7 do too!
Yes, that’s right, it’s Valentine’s Day on Sunday, and we’re in the mood for love!
Valentine’s Day. The day of the year set aside to express our love to our boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands or wives. It’s all very romantic, but come on, we think it’s time to spread the love a bit wider!
* Love: (noun)
1. An intense feeling of deep affection
2. The experience of great pleasure or interest in something
What about your staff, suppliers and customers? We certainly have deep affection for ours, and helping them to discover and communicate their purpose, enabling their growth and seeing the amazing work they produce certainly provides us with great pleasure and interest.
Interestingly, the most popular symbol for love is the heart. It’s strange that a group of muscles, valves and blood vessels should have such a romantic connotation. Perhaps it is because the heart is our core. It represents our centre, the place that physically drives our existence, and emotionally gives and sustains our wellbeing. A healthy heart represents a healthy body, love and excitement make our heart quicken. A broken heart devastates us, a heart attack could finish us off!
When Focus7 work with our clients, we talk about getting to the heart of their business. It means understanding their purpose; why the business was set up, what was it intended to achieve, how does the business purpose align in with the leaders’ personal purposes? What is it about the busines that is unique or different, what makes it special and how is that being communicated to the audience that they want to attract?
Once we have got to the heart, we have one objective, to make it beat faster, creating the excitement that comes with fresh ideas, creative positioning, increased activity and growth.
It’s a methodology that results in creating processes, activities and customer journeys that tie in with their customers’ needs, an emotional journey for the consumer, not a sales process for the supplier.
That is the essence of brand-led business, moving from pushing products and features and short-term offers, to attracting customers by pulling the market through empathy, purpose and a campaignable asset that sets you apart.
If you or your customers have lost the passion for your business, if you’ve fallen out of love with your brand and need to reconnect, you are planning to launch new products and services, target new channels or routes to market, or maybe you are looking for that new someone special to partner with, please get in touch.
Think of our workshop process as some good old-fashioned ‘courting’. We’ll get to know you, discover what makes you happy, understand your aspirations and see if we make a great match. We think you’ll like us, but more importantly, we hope you’ll fall back in love with your business.
From Focus7 to all who share the journey, Happy Valentine’s Day!
